The Castle Lodge is a small family run business dedicated to offering quality self catering accommodation at an affordable price.
We offer fully equipped self contained accommodation that sleep up to 10 people. The accommodation is accessed via coded security gates with off road parking subject to availability. For our mountain biking guests we have purpose built secure bike storage with steel entrance doors and internal ground anchors. There are also on-site bike washing facilities available.
The Castle Lodge is located in the old Welsh Valleys mining town of Tredegar on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.
The lodge is within easy access to many nearby attractions including the Award winning Big Pit National coal mining museum, Cyfartha Castle & Park, Brecon Mountain Railway, Rock UK Summit Centre, Nature Reserves and Bike Park Wales which is one of the best mountain biking centres in the UK.The lodge is an ideal base for families, runners, walkers, cyclists/mountain bikers, adventurers or just simply somewhere to come and relax and unwind.
